Story from Dave and Gwen:
Sending you this one photo pretty much says it all!! Underneath those helmets are probably the biggest smiles you could ever have given Nick and Adam. Not to say the least, the great times that Dave and I also shared with you as our two families made many memories together. The times we would show up to your house, much, much later in the evening, unload the car, Melissa, Nick and Adam usually went downstairs to watch scary movies or play some games on their own. Meanwhile, we would be in your living room with the music playing, consuming food, consuming drinks, more food and more drinks. Talking, laughing, much laughing (I'm sure I peed myself ). At some point, in the wee hours of the early morning, we would find our way to our beds, and I swear, it was probably 30 minutes later when the kids would wake up and wanting breakfast. Being the trooper that you were, it didn't take much for you to get that bacon frying, while the rest of us felt like we were banging our heads against the wall , but if truth were to be told, it was probably a hang over (don't know how that happened )!
Not only when our two families got together, did we have a blast, but you guys also hosting the entire Reitzel clan....and what a clan we were. The best part was knowing that Mom and Dad had a great time especially with the entire family together, on your properties, in Lyn, Graham Lake and Mallorytown, were the perfect setting !
As lives moved on, there has always been a part of you that has been in our thoughts, memories and hearts . Our family has never forgotten you. Dave and I are so glad that we were able to meet up with you and Sheryl, and enjoyed a great lunch, with Melissa as well, on that day.
